The Feynman Technique: Master the Art of Learning

Feynman technique is the most evolved technique for learning this methodological approach will make your conceptual understanding deeper. Richard Feynman was a Nobel laureate in physics who can demystify any topic. Key learning insight: complexity and parlance most of the time

Feynman’s learning technique has four steps:-

Select a concept to learn.

Teach it to a child.

Review and refine your understanding.

Organize your notes and revisit them regularly.

Feynman’s secret lies in understanding a concept rather than merely knowing its name, leading to his remarkable achievements.

Step 1: Select a concept to learn.

Choose a topic you already must have read once. Write down everything that you already know about the topic. As you learn about the topic revise it on 2nd third day.

Step 2: Teach it to someone

Explain the concepts to someone else who knows the concept that will underline how much you must have grabbed. The Effective explanation that you will be able to give in a topic will make you feel confident. Following this technique will make you finer in learning.

Step 3: Review and Refine

Doing Practice along with the reviewal is important for refinement of the concept matter. Reflection is how we learn what we know and what we need to learn further. Your notes must cover all the major parts. The explanation was not simple enough or sounds confusing, that’s a good indication.

Step 4: Organize and Review

Organise approach will make you align with how you need to go on. Reflection is most important part of learning. You must have proper notes and make them in digital format and take some in written format also.

This scientific technique works exemplary with changing times. We just made a quick glance at banishing association between academics and technology. The hallmark of true understanding is to Challenge others who has more understanding then you have.
